Ladybird's Week 2

This week it was all about the mud! We all met at basecamp and recapped our 3 main FS rules. 

The children then explored the site, looking for a good place to dig up lots of mud. They each had to find a suitable 'stirring stick', after collecting a bucket of mud they used their big stick to break up the mud into a fine powder, afterwards we added water and the children mixed it to achieve a 'smooth melted chocolate' type consistency. Once happy with their mixture the children proceeded to mark make on trees, leaves, logs and anything they could find.
