Hammers leaf bashing! 

• Talk about the properties of leaves, demonstrate in base camp with an autumnal leaf, discuss colour changes, seasons etc.

Animal habitats!

• Where would each woodland animal live? What about food? Are they nocturnal? Talk about different houses, fox sets, badger dens, and other groups of animals.

Bird spotting

• Use the bird hide, discuss different birds we might find at forest school, what ay they eat? Use bird identifying cards/ clip boards.
