Superhero Day - 04/04/2025
After 2 weeks of Evil Mr Freeze capturing a different superhero each day and setting us challenges, we came into the classroom to find out that we needed to re-rescue all of the superheroes! Evil Mr Freeze left us a letter behind outlining our challenges for the day to help boost our strength once and for all. We started by taking part in our superhero physical training where we developed our agility completing obstacles courses, dodged string lasers, worked together to collect hoops and power up, as well as avoiding the large inflatable obstacles! We enjoyed learning our superhero dance, making and tasting smoothies, creating potions and hitting tricky words with bean bags too. To finish, we took part in a QR code treasure hunt to defeat Evil Me Freeze and were rewarded with an ice lolly!
Queenswood - 18/03/2025
Ladybirds had a lovely trip to Queenswood in the Spring sunshine and had lots of fun searching through the woodland area! We followed the Gruffalo trail spotting several familiar faces on the way and enjoyed taking part in mini games such as hide and seek, follow my echo etc at each stop. We took it in turns to look out from the view point and listened to our story back in the Yurt. After lunch, we explored the Forest School area, searching for minibeasts and making animal homes. We also had a quick play in the playground before heading back to the bus.

Milk Scheme
If you would like your child to continue having Milk once they turn 5, you will need to follow the following steps:
- Go to www.coolmilk.com at least 10 days before your child's 5th birthday or pick up a form from school.
- Pay Cool Milk online, over the phone, at a local PayPoint or by cheque in instalments to suit you. If registering online you can pay straight away, if using a registration form you will need to wait to receive a payment request.
- Just pay by 5pm on a Tuesday for your child’s milk to start the following week.
If your child is currently over the age of 5 and entitled to statutory free school meals, there is no need to register. Simply speak to the school office for further information.
