Kites Class – Autumn Welcome Letter
Dear Parents and Carers,

I hope you all had a wonderful summer break. I am very much looking forward to welcoming the children back into school and beginning an exciting new year together in Year 5.

This term will be full of opportunities and experiences for the children. Some highlights include:

• Swimming lessons will begin on Monday 8th September and will continue for 7 weeks, finishing in the last week before half term.
• A class trip to @Bristol (details to follow).
• Preparing for our Christmas concert production later in the term.
• Other exciting trips and activities will also take place across the year.

You are warmly invited to our ‘Meet the Teacher’ evening on Tuesday 9th September 2025 at 3:45pm.

This will be a great opportunity for us to meet, discuss routines, and share important information about the year ahead.

For communication, I will continue to use the Seesaw app and the whole class email to share updates and reminders. Please also check our Kites Class Page on the school website where you will find information about our classroom environment and the topics, we will be learning this year.
