Summer term 2021

Welcome back to school Bees class! It is great to have you all back.

As this has been a strange year and many of the children have not been in school for a long period of time, the main focus for this half term will be settling the children back in and making sure they feel safe and happy. There will be focus on new routines, mindfulness, social skills and emotions.

Topic-Summer 2021

Our topic for Summer term is ‘mini-beasts’ we will be listening to stories all about different mini-beasts and their habitats. We will be going on mini beasts hunt around the school grounds, look at mini-beast life cycles, exploring new foods when focusing on the very hungry caterpillar and making our own mini beast hotels. Children will be encouraged to share their views on class stories and use adjectives to describe the mini beasts and their habitats, with focus on their handwriting.

If you have anything you wish to discuss please do not hesitate to contact me:atudge@hamptondene.Hereford.sch .uk or use the direct message facility on the Seesaw app.
