Week 6
Toasting Marshmallows Week!
This week was our last Forest School session. So we celebrated by having a fire in the fire pit, we then used the sticks we whittled to toast marshmallows. We learnt how to be safe around the fire circle, what to do if the smoke blew towards us, and how to safely manage a fire.
The children were all fantastic at this and were able to safely negotiate the space, toast their marshmallow and enjoy warming up on a super chilly last session. Some of us even had a visit from Mrs Kearns, who also enjoyed toasting some marshmallows with us.
